Hulk Keen On Chelsea Transfer-Reports

Hulk Claims: He would be happy to sign for Chelsea
Latest reports from Sky UK  and Tribal Football suggest that Blues target Hulk is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge but has left his future in the hands of Porto. Chelsea are facing stiff competition from the likes of PSG,Manchester City and Juventus for securing the Brazilian's services. Recent rumors suggest that that if  ex-Blues manager AVB agrees a deal with Spurs, Spurs themselves could bid for Hulk due to the duo's Porto connection.

Reports from Sky Sport suggested-

The Brazil international forward has been linked with a move to the Blues as part of UEFA Champions League winners' significant summer spending spree.

The 25-year-old is open about the fact that he wants the switch to happen.

"Chelsea are the current European champions and would please any player and I'm no exception," Hulk told O Jogo. "I'd be happy if the transfer happened."

Much will depend on negotiations with Porto, as they are keen to get a good price for a player under contact until 2014 and whose stock is rising having netted three goals for Brazil this summer.

"I leave everything in the hands of Porto," added Hulk.

"I am under contract and I have been happy at Porto for four years, where I have achieved everything.

"I'll have the club in my heart no matter what happens this summer or in any other summer."

Other reports read as follows-

Porto striker Hulk is sweating on Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich coming good with a decent offer for him. Blogolo says PSG have made a new offer of €53 million for the Brazilian, who would still prefer to move to Stamford Bridge. It is PSG's second offer this year, after they proposed €72 million to Porto in May.Manchester City are willing to go to €55 million for Hulk, while Tottenham have also made contact with Porto this week to register their interest. But the striker wants to join Chelsea, though Abramovich won't go higher than €38 million for his transfer.

The Hulk transfer saga continues.....
Well quite ironically the Hulk proposed transfer to Chelsea has turned into a saga, earlier it was being conjectured that Eden Hazard will take his time to announce his future and the media were expecting the Eden Hazard saga will be the one they can hype. But that's how things turn in football. Chelsea have to bid higher and improve their offers for Hulk otherwise PSG could lure the Brazilian to Ligue 1.The Blues have had Hulk in their sights from the past 2 summers and nothing concrete has yet been decided.

If Chelsea want their man they might have to pay little extra in order to acquire the services of Givanildo Vieira de Souza. Rest is upto Mr. Roman I guess the Brazilian's transfer is necessary in order to continue the ongoing rehabilitation and rebuilding process. If Chelsea fail in their bid to buy Hulk they might have to look somewhere else. But with Hulk admitting that he would be happy if the transfer already happened anything is possible.

Stay tuned for more..

Till then KTBFFH as always!

Wigan Reject Moses Bid...

Wigan chairman says Chelsea are offering an unrealistic bid for the Nigerian..
Like I said in the previous article that how untrue and absurd rumors are being printed daily. Chelsea were being linked to Moses and were reported to have submitted a 10 million bid for the Nigerian but fresh reports from the UK suggest a new story...

A report on Sky Sports read as follows-

Wigan Athletic have rejected an offer from European champions Chelsea for forward Victor Moses, Sky Sports can reveal.

The 21-year-old Nigeria international has just 12 months left on his current deal and has so far shunned Wigan's advances over an extension.

A host of clubs are known to be tracking the former Crystal Palace man, who scored six goals in 37 league games last term - playing mainly on the wing.

Now Chelsea have decided to make their move and have lodged a bid with the Lancashire club, but that has already been rejected.

Sky Sports understands that the offer fell short of Wigan's valuation of the player but Chelsea are expected to continue talks.A number of rival Premier League clubs are believed to be monitoring the situation.

This is what Wigan's chairman had to say-

'Chelsea would need to get realistic before we would even listen to them,' Whelan told ESPN.

'They made a bid at 6pm last night and we turned it down flat.

'Roberto Martinez has brought this player on and he needs at least another year with Roberto to become a top player.

'We have offered him a new contract but it seems the agent, more than the player, wants to move him on, at least that is the impression we are getting.

'It cannot be for the player's good. Victor Moses needs another year or two before moving to a club like Chelsea.

'He needs games and he won't be first choice at Chelsea, I wouldn't have thought.

'We don't need to sell him with 12 months to go on his contract because he is under 24 so wouldn't be going on a free transfer.

'Ideally we would like him to sign a new contract, or a club like Chelsea would have to be realistic. At the moment, they are taking the Mickey with the bid they've made.'

Well the transfer seaon is really an uncertain and a period full of speculation. Now let's see if CFC are willing to submit a new and improved offer for Victor Moses.

Stay tuned for more unpredictable transfer gossip...

Till then KTBFFH!

Blues Looking To Capture Moses for £10million?

6th striker to be linked with Chelsea...

The Blues are being linked to a new striker almost everyday from the rumor mill. Another one is Latics Nigerian striker Victor Moses , who in the past weeks cast doubt over his future with the relegation battling side and his agent was reported saying that Moses will not be signing a new deal with the Latics.

The talented former Crystal Palace winger was largely responsible for Roberto Martinez’s side beating the drop last season. But he refuses to sign a new deal at the DW Stadium and the Blues are ready to step in for Moses, ahead of west London rivals QPR and Mersyside's Liverpool. CFC360 reported earlier in the transfer roundup that Moses is looking to quit Wigan you can read the transfer round up here

Its also being widely reported that Moses's arrival could make way for Daniel Sturridge who is kind of unsettled at the Bridge and is having second thoughts over his future with the reigning European Champions.

Here is a half-witted and dopey report from the Daily Mail-

Assertions that Daniel Sturridge is not all that keen at remaining at Chelsea now that Roberto Di Matteo has been confirmed as a permanent successor to Andre Villas-Boas are not unfounded. After all the Italian didn’t pick the young England man to make an appearance in either the Champions League semi-finals and final as well as the FA Cup semi-final and final. There has been speculation that the lack of first team action in the latter half of the last term cost the attacker a spot in Roy Hodgson’s Euro 2012 squad and therefore he may well look to move on this summer.

Victor Moses is a talented player who showed he had made great strides in the final weeks of the campaign as Roberto Martinez showed top six form to drag themselves clear of the drop zone. However the young Latics man is by no means as accomplished as Sturridge but Di Matteo may only be looking for back-up options given the capture of Marko Marin and Eden Hazard thus far this summer.

Now readers such reports are pouring in almost everyday.Hulk,Cavani,Falcao,Jovetic,Higuain and now Moses are some of the names in the ever expanding rumor mill. The Blues are searching for a world-class striker and according to me Hulk and Cavani are the two players whom the Club really want to sign. The other names are just plain rumors you could say.It really is a little absurd, newspapers printing in so many names and some are irrelevant if you ask me. Moses is indeed a young and decent player no doubt but a club like Chelsea could be too big a stage from him.

Well if he does come he could really flourish and give the Blue's attack a totally new magnitude but the Club are looking for a top notch and reliable striker. And just to show you readers that how counterfactual and misleading some reports can be please take a look at this

We will keep you updated with more transfer gossip.

Till then Blue Is The Color...

The Challenge Ahead: Chelsea's Transition Into An Attacking Side

The 2011-12 season was one of mixed fortunes for Chelsea. We managed to win the Champions League & the FA Cup, which is an outstanding achievement given the state we were in when Andre Villas-Boas was sacked. However, we only managed a 6th place finish in the Premier League, a clear indication that this Chelsea squad isn't as strong as it appears.

Ever since Roman Abramovich bought the club, 2 things have remained constant: High expectations & a strong squad. However, the squad that Roberto Di Matteo had at his disposal was one of the weaker Chelsea squads in recent memory (expectations still being as high as before). Credit must go to him for how he brought the squad together & made them play as a team. The one criticism of RDM: his style of play was considered defensive, even described as boring to watch.
Defending was a key part of Chelsea's game under RDM

One can understand that criticism. A lot of Chelsea fans felt the same way. But RDM didn't possess a squad that was full to the brim with attack-minded players. Besides Juan Mata, there was no real creative spark in the midfield. Our strikers were not in the best of form. And our defence was struggling to keep a clean-sheet. Keeping all that in mind, RDM made changes to our style of play.

He changed the formation from the patented 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1, inserting 2 defensive midfielders whilst giving Juan Mata's creativity free reign. The change worked. Our defence became reliable, and our strikers (most notably Fernando Torres) began to find the back of the net. Whilst I'll admit it wasn't at all fun to watch (I'm pretty sure I nearly had 4 heart attacks during the matches against Barcelona ) I knew this was the only way we would actually stand a chance of winning anything.

Marko Marin
Eden Hazard

However, I don't think Chelsea fans need to worry about the team playing attacking football. The signing of Marko Marin & Eden Hazard means that Chelsea's style of play will undergo drastic changes. Don't believe me? Read on.

When Manchester City first appointed Roberto Mancini, the team would often come under fire for being extremely defensive (despite having large resources that meant they could buy any player in the world). However, the purchase of players like David Silva, Samir Nasri & Sergio Aguero changed the look of the team entirely. Even though City were still hard to break down, the inclusion of such players in the starting XI meant that City were always a threat going forward.

I expect Chelsea to go the same way. Include Hazard & Marin in our playing XI, & we can expect plenty of flare in attack. Just imagine this Chelsea XI: Cech; Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole; Ramires, Lampard, Marin, Mata, Hazard; Torres. (Formation 4-2-3-1). This is a line-up good enough to take on & beat the best of teams in Europe.

So expect plenty of attacking flair from Chelsea next season. We played "ugly football" & have 2 trophies to show for it. I can only imagine what will happen if we play football that's a little easier on the eyes (& the heart).

Till then fellow Blues KTBFFH as always!

A WORD TO THE MISGUIDED BEARERS OF "BEAUTIFUL" FOOTBALL

A WORD TO THE MISGUIDED BEARERS OF "BEAUTIFUL" FOOTBALL

Before I start writing, let me assure you my fellow Blues, that trying to put some sense into the thick skulls of the braggers of 'Beautiful' football is like trying to convince a nutcase Gorrila that it's an animal and not a human being. But lets give it a shot anyways.

I am sick and tired (as many of you are too) of trying to explain people Why the Chelsea way is NOT 'Anti-Football'.

Lets take a look at the definition of Football or the 'Beautiful game'.

According to FIFA :
"Association Football, more commanly known as Football or soccer, is a sport played between two teams of Eleven players with a spherical ball. The objective of the game is TO SCORE by driving the ball into the opposing goal."

Did I miss something ? Because I can't seem to find where's it written that you gotta 'pass-pass-pass' the crap out of your opponent .Lets get something VERY clear braggers of 'Beautiful' football, the objective is to score. SCORE. And SCORE.The only goddamn thing that matters at the end of 90 minutes is the SCORE. The ONLY thing that wins you matches is GOALS. Not POSSESSION.No. of passes completed, possession, shots on goal and what-nots. Gimme a break. The ONLY stat that matters in the end is the one shown on the scoreboard. And that is the SCORE.

What mattered in the end? The stats say a different story,But Chelsea won the Champions League and not Barça.
And believe it or not, the meaning of SCORE is the AMOUNT OF GOALS SCORED, not the AMOUNT OF POSSESSION you kept. But of course,I don't expect you to understand this. Because all of you so called Footballing 'Idealists' and 'Pundits' are lost in the scramble for your own gratification.

Recently Chelsea, England and Greece have been severly criticised for the 'DEMISE' of football and 'Parking the Bus'. Demise. Really ? Well, Read the meaning of football again 'Geniuses'.
These idealists are the ones who are truly spoiling the game. They are hell-bent on manipulating the crowd into believing their self-created version of football, about how the game is to be played.I went over the entire article on football, the rules and regulations and everything, before writing this article. And let me assure you geniuses, we are by NO MEANS killing football or being 'anti'.

This is what I am asking all the naysayers.. Is football all about pass-pass-pass why are they so serious about Tik Tak Toe?
And oh, before I begin, a Word to the Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal fans jumping around moaning about the demise of football.

Dear Man Utd fans, I hope you remember parking a SPACE-SHUTTLE against Man City in the return leg in the EPL. And by the way, in case you didn't notice, While your team was busy crashing out of Europe TWICE in TWO MONTHS, we were trying to keep EPL's self-respect intact.

Dear Liverpool fans, I don't know for how long have you been walking alone now, but a team that is struggling to beat teams like Wigan Athletic after bragging so much about their history channel, should mind their own business. By the way, out of all the traditional top teams, your style of play is the crappiest, the reason for your current mess.

Dear Gooners, I commend your truly inspirational stand against 'Anti-Football'. Wow. You guys deserve a cookie for you efforts, because you are nowhere close to winning a trophy for all your efforts.

Ya, so where were we ? Right, the demise of Football. I can't imagine how incredibly disillusioned can these guys be. Who gave them the right to brand this 'TIK TAK TOE' as the Mecca of Footballing philosophy ?

You know what these guys are like ? They are like those colonial rulers from a 100 years back, who had the misconception that they are superior to everyone else. They consider THEIR style of playing to be the correct one, just like the colonial rulers used to think that their way of living is superior and more 'CLASSY'.These footballing idealists seem to think that football is to be played the 'TIK TAK TOE' way. They think that football is all about attacking. They seem to forget there's something called defence too.

They seem to forget the notion that it's the SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST. Not the survival of WHINERS.It's like the clash of two styles. Similar to Federer vs Nadal. Federer (TIK TAK TOE) is PRESUMED to be the epitome of how Tennis has to be played.Nadal (PARKING THE BUS) is however considered to be Anti-Tennis, because he's not 'CLASSY' for some people. Well, Sorry to disappoint, but the way Rafa plays is ENTIRELY LEGAL AND CORRECT.

Can you hear me? SCORING and TAKING your chances that's what football is all about.....
And hence he's a tennis legend and the ONLY GUY going after Federer's legacy.Similarly, it's no hidden fact that Chelsea are the only team against whom Barça seem to lose their minds. Because it's natural. It's a clash of two styles. Chelsea aren't going to bullied and drawn into that TIK TAK TOE trap of Barça's.They never have, they never will. We do what is necessary to WIN. That's the objective of football in the first place. If you think it's about putting the crowd and the opponent to sleep by passing the ball and doing nothing with it, I suggest you consult the men in white coats.

Did you see a 'Bus' in front of Messi when he missed the penalty ? Did you see the 'BUS' when Robben, Olic and Schwienstiger missed their penalties ?These are mindless EXCUSES made my the so-called Idealogists who tend to think that they are larger than the constitution of the game itself.
They are self-appointed messiahs of football, who'll rant about how the game should be played while they wouldn't bother noticing about the innumerable times Barca and Munich missed their chances. To cover up their mistakes, they'll put up the Blame on us.

We 'Parked the bus' ONLY in the Semis and Finals of the UCL. Did you see it anywhere else ? It's called ABILITY TO ADAPT. If other teams can't do it, it's their problem, not ours.Do you remember us parking the bus against Spurs in their 5-1 thrashing ?In the 4-1 win against Napoli ? IN the 3-0 win over Valencia ? In the thrashing of Genk ? When we beat Benfica ?In the FA CUp finals against Liverpool ? Did you ? NO. That's the answer disillusioned idealists. NO.Do you know any how many clubs other than Barcelona has this, uh, TIK TAK TOE philosophy has been successful ? NONE.

This lad (being consoled by JT) above is called the best player on the planet and he's is yet to score against the mighty Blues...
The truth is, for every single existent ideal, there also exists an 'ideal' opposite to it which views itself as the truth.Another truth is that neither Barcelona nor Spain have a Plan B if their Plan A gets bamboozled. All they know is to keep playing pass-pass.If you can counter it and do what CHELSEA did against Barça, what England did against Spain in the friendly and what Greece did against the Russians, You'll be successful and they'll panic and start moaning.

The sheer Beauty of grinding out results ( in the Chelsea way) made the BLUES European Champions...
No one gave the TIK TAK TOE the official status as the eptimoe of footballing philosophy. And it'll be much better if it remains like that. When you create a style of play, it's natural that the opposing team will create a counter strategy about how to neutralise it. Now if that's successful, then I suggest the 'Idealists' to find an answer to counter our style of play, rather than whine about it.

This is football. Learn to respect every aspect of it.Learn the joy of watching the art  of defending, when John Terry puts his body on the line, when Cahill makes last ditch challenges, when Cole makes goal-line clearances.Imagine yourselves in their place and understand how hard it is to do that.

If you can't, then continue to indulge in self-importance and hypocrisy. Continue to consider yourselves superior.Continue to Disllusion yourselves and continue to forget the objective of football in the first place.

Adios. God save you.
