Falcao Not For Sale-Atlético Chief

Key Man: He guided his club to the Europa League title
Atlético Madrid's number 9 Radamel Falcao García Zárate who was considered to be a part of the Blues shopping spree will not be sold insists Atlectico's chief. Falcao also known as the King Of Europa League scored a whooping 36 goals last term for the Los Indios. Falcao who has already been linked with many clubs including Chelsea finished the 3rd top srtiker in La Liga behind Messi and Ronaldo.Reports from thesun and other British newspapers were constantly theorizing that Roman wants Falcao but the sporting director of  Atlético,Jose Luis Caminero has bluntly stated that they  want to keep Falcao and any news of him leaving is all untrue.
"Falcao will remain at Atletico Madrid and any talk of an exit is misplaced. The club has very clear ideas on this," Caminero told AS.

"The striker will remain with us next season and we are not considering any other possibility."

Falcao is one of the 5-6 strikers the media is intenesly linking the European Champions with. The traits Falcao possess are quite amazing no doubt. Falcao is a natural goal scorer and is known for terrorizing defenses with his burst in pace and powerful heading abilities. He can score with both his foot and this ability makes him sharp shooter.

Falcao would have been the perfect buy for the Blues with the Hulk transfer saga yet to end. Falcao has quite a hefty price tag as well as reports suggest he's been rated around €50 million, even at Porto his trasnfer clause was around €45m and the clubs now getting concious of what they buy thanks to the FFP rules,it coule be possible that the Colombian starlet doesn't move anywhere this summer.

What do you think readers should the Blues try and chase Falcao? or stick and negotiate with Hulk until he comes?

Till then KTBFFH as always....

Still No Bids For Hulk?

The Hulk transfer saga goes on and on and on..........

Porto's number 12 and Brazilian's ace future is still dubious. Chelsea,PSG are the two clubs who have been hotly linked with Hulk. Along with them Madrid,Arsenal and Spurs are also somewhere in the mix.
Hulk earlier this month admitted he is interested in moving to Stamford Bridge this summer. He told Sky Sports-

"Chelsea are the current European champions and would please any player and I'm no exception," he said and he added "I'd be happy if the transfer happened."

Exclusive reports from football411.com read as follows-
Real Madrid, Paris St Germain and Arsenal have all been linked with the Brazil ace, who looks set to stay at Estadio do Dragao next season as suitors seem to be put off by his club's massive asking price.

Hulk has since dangled a carrot in front of the Blues after recently telling the media they are the only team he would like to play for besides Dragoes. The Portuguese giants remain adamant no bids have been tabled for their prized talisman, although they do seem keen to let him go.

"At the moment, Porto have not been contacted by any club to discuss the sale of our player," FC Porto president Pinto da Costa told Sky Sports.

"There are no offers on the table. That is the truth, despite what the papers say about Chelsea and PSG. Those stories are simply ridiculous rumors. If you believe what they say, Hulk has already left us."

If you want to read the in depth report about Hulk and his ownership related clauses I would request you to read this

If Hulk does really come he might even fill the void that Didier has left.....

Well could it be possible that the Blues haven't yet made any official contact to Hulk's agent or to the Portugese champions? The way I see it Porto don't want their one of the most prized assets to leave them yet. They are very keen to keep him and don't want to publicize otherwise it could complicate matters even more for the Portugese champions. Yes the Blues would have contacted Porto for Hulk but looks like the Porto don't want to disclose it yet or agree that the negotiations are still going on.

If Porto do sell him I'm sure they would want to properly cash on him. And I think Hulk deserves that big price tag. He's undoubtedly one of the most prolific strikers out their. Chelsea will have to battle hard if they want the Brazilian striker to become a BLUE. Hulk is the solution to all of Chelsea's attack related problems and will be a huge hit if he comes to the Bridge. With himself admitting that Chelsea is the only club he's interested in otherwise he might just stay at Porto. Now it all comes down to Roman I believe, if our Russian inherent  wants the the rebuilding to be done to the core and wants to add more depth to the squad so that Chelsea can cope up on all stages be it Domestic,European or the World Championships he'll have to pay big.

The transfer window is yet open and the Blues should look at all the options available if somehow they don't manage to acquire the services of Porto's tailsmanic striker.

Well till then KTBFFH as always....

Hulk to Chelsea, Exposé

Truth, Lies, Rumors, Facts of Hulk to Chelsea Transfer Saga

A lot of our readers and followers have been eager to know that latest on Hulk's transfer to Chelsea. Everyday, more often than not, the day starts with someone asking about Hulk and whether he has joined Chelsea or will he ever join Chelsea.

When the Hazard saga was taking place, this writer personally did not think there would be another transfer saga around the corner and one that would even challenge Hazard saga for the 'Saga Honors'.
"In Porto or at Chelsea FC Will Be Happy"

Today's news 'Reports' have been full of Hulk and Chelsea related transfer news. If you are wondering about the "Reports", it is because of the quality of the sources reporting those news.

So what is the latest on Hulk to Chelsea news, one may wonder.

In simple terms, the deal has not been worked out yet. Yes, that is a sad news to every Chelsea fan, as Hulk has impressed many with his skills. If Hazard hasn't still proven himself at the top level, Hulk already has and he still has a gear or two more left to go. That explains this ridiculously overpriced transfer fee and an inflated buyout clause of €100 Million, which is even threatening Messi's buyout clause.

A few weeks ago we had posted an article about Hulk, (click here for the story). In that we had mentioned, the main hindrance in Hulk's transfer to Chelsea is that Porto does not own 100% of his player rights.

And surprise, surprise, the reports today are claiming the same point. Disclaimer: we are not taking credit for any of that.

Almost all of the reports out today on Hulk seem to centered on an interview given by Hulk to O Jogo, Portuguese 'Newspaper'. We will leave it to you to form an opinion on the veracity of the source. Our efforts in trying to access the video of that interview met with failure. Moreover, while in the middle of writing this post, that video mysteriously 'vanished' from its homepage.

Truth: of the matter is 15% of Hulk's player rights are owned by Rentistas - 10%, an Uruguayan football club based in Montevideo, and  Theodore Fonseca - 5%. Also reported in ABola

What that means is that 15% of the returns from Hulk's sale would go to those two. That is, If Hulk were sold for, let us say, €100 then Porto will only get €85. So higher the price, better it is for all parties involved who won Hulk's rights.

Another important, Fact is, according to English Premier League/FA rules, for an EPL club to enter into a deal, the selling club must own 100% of his rights. A player cannot be owned by more than one institution.

Another fact is that Porto are facing severe financial difficulties and the sale of Hulk alone will save them. Hence, the reason for Porto holding Chelsea to a ransom. Furthermore, Porto do not want to pay Fonseca or Rentistas. They want Chelsea to pay for the remaining 15% of Hulk's rights as well.

Rumor also has it that PSG have tabled an offer worth €53 Million (£43Million), according to a French source. Also they claim, PSG had made an informal offer of €72 Million back in January.

Previously, there were reports suggesting, PSG were in search of a striker and they had listed Tevez and Cavani as their favorite choices. Since, those bids were rejected by Man City and Napoli, PSG have turned their attention to Hulk.

Do you think, ex-Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti, would buy Hulk who essentially plays a winger/right-forward to play as an outright striker?

Also, as one our fellow Blue pointed out rightly to this writer on Twitter (the tweet), Ezequiel Lavezzi to PSG is almost a done deal. Lavezzi plays at Left-Wing and can be used as a Striker. A position very similar to Hulk, only difference being Hulk prefers playing on the right side.

There was a talk in one of the forums that Hulk does not intend to leave Porto and all this has been a ploy by him to raise his annual income at Porto. Personally, this writer does not believe in that notion.

In an interview to ABola, a few weeks back, Hulk had mentioned that he has an ambition to represent Brazil in the London 2012 Olympics. Also, he wants to be a regular starter for Brazil in the future. In order for that to happen, he had said that he needs to impress his coach with top notch performances at club level in a top league. As a result, EPL was his preferred destination and Chelsea his preferred club.

When certain sources claim that Hulk is keen on Chelsea transfer, that is just 'Old Wine in a New Bottle'. He had revealed his desire to play for Chelsea ages ago.

Do you think if Hulk were to play in French Ligue 1, that would help his cause? This writer in no way is claiming the French Ligue 1 is inferior or does not possess quality. In fact, it is the opposite. French Ligue 1 has produced many exceptional talents and as a Chelsea fan, very thankful to them too. Makalele, Drogba, Essien and Hazard all have been their products. The noteworthy point being, Hulk himself said he wants to play in a league that is more challenging than the Portuguese Super Liga.

There have been other rumors linking Hulk to Tottenham. Frankly, this writer does not see Spurs spending £38 Million or more. Those rumors surfaced after reports of AVB being contacted by Spurs for the vacant manager position came out.

The question remains. Will Hulk be playing for Chelsea next season?

As was the case with Hazard transfer, Chelsea have been tight lipped about Hulk. If the rumors, that claim Chelsea is unwillingly to concede to Porto's negotiating tactics, are true, then as a Blues fan this writer is happy.

As for the cases of what happens with the Hulk transfer and all the rumors that have surfaced, this writer will leave it to the reader to come to a conclusion based on the points mentioned in the post.

We would love to know your take on all this.

And as always KTBFFH.

Hulk Keen On Chelsea Transfer-Reports

Hulk Claims: He would be happy to sign for Chelsea
Latest reports from Sky UK  and Tribal Football suggest that Blues target Hulk is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge but has left his future in the hands of Porto. Chelsea are facing stiff competition from the likes of PSG,Manchester City and Juventus for securing the Brazilian's services. Recent rumors suggest that that if  ex-Blues manager AVB agrees a deal with Spurs, Spurs themselves could bid for Hulk due to the duo's Porto connection.

Reports from Sky Sport suggested-

The Brazil international forward has been linked with a move to the Blues as part of UEFA Champions League winners' significant summer spending spree.

The 25-year-old is open about the fact that he wants the switch to happen.

"Chelsea are the current European champions and would please any player and I'm no exception," Hulk told O Jogo. "I'd be happy if the transfer happened."

Much will depend on negotiations with Porto, as they are keen to get a good price for a player under contact until 2014 and whose stock is rising having netted three goals for Brazil this summer.

"I leave everything in the hands of Porto," added Hulk.

"I am under contract and I have been happy at Porto for four years, where I have achieved everything.

"I'll have the club in my heart no matter what happens this summer or in any other summer."

Other reports read as follows-

Porto striker Hulk is sweating on Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich coming good with a decent offer for him. Blogolo says PSG have made a new offer of €53 million for the Brazilian, who would still prefer to move to Stamford Bridge. It is PSG's second offer this year, after they proposed €72 million to Porto in May.Manchester City are willing to go to €55 million for Hulk, while Tottenham have also made contact with Porto this week to register their interest. But the striker wants to join Chelsea, though Abramovich won't go higher than €38 million for his transfer.

The Hulk transfer saga continues.....
Well quite ironically the Hulk proposed transfer to Chelsea has turned into a saga, earlier it was being conjectured that Eden Hazard will take his time to announce his future and the media were expecting the Eden Hazard saga will be the one they can hype. But that's how things turn in football. Chelsea have to bid higher and improve their offers for Hulk otherwise PSG could lure the Brazilian to Ligue 1.The Blues have had Hulk in their sights from the past 2 summers and nothing concrete has yet been decided.

If Chelsea want their man they might have to pay little extra in order to acquire the services of Givanildo Vieira de Souza. Rest is upto Mr. Roman I guess the Brazilian's transfer is necessary in order to continue the ongoing rehabilitation and rebuilding process. If Chelsea fail in their bid to buy Hulk they might have to look somewhere else. But with Hulk admitting that he would be happy if the transfer already happened anything is possible.

Stay tuned for more..

Blues Looking To Capture Moses for £10million?

6th striker to be linked with Chelsea...

The Blues are being linked to a new striker almost everyday from the rumor mill. Another one is Latics Nigerian striker Victor Moses , who in the past weeks cast doubt over his future with the relegation battling side and his agent was reported saying that Moses will not be signing a new deal with the Latics.

The talented former Crystal Palace winger was largely responsible for Roberto Martinez’s side beating the drop last season. But he refuses to sign a new deal at the DW Stadium and the Blues are ready to step in for Moses, ahead of west London rivals QPR and Mersyside's Liverpool. CFC360 reported earlier in the transfer roundup that Moses is looking to quit Wigan you can read the transfer round up here

Its also being widely reported that Moses's arrival could make way for Daniel Sturridge who is kind of unsettled at the Bridge and is having second thoughts over his future with the reigning European Champions.

Here is a half-witted and dopey report from the Daily Mail-

Assertions that Daniel Sturridge is not all that keen at remaining at Chelsea now that Roberto Di Matteo has been confirmed as a permanent successor to Andre Villas-Boas are not unfounded. After all the Italian didn’t pick the young England man to make an appearance in either the Champions League semi-finals and final as well as the FA Cup semi-final and final. There has been speculation that the lack of first team action in the latter half of the last term cost the attacker a spot in Roy Hodgson’s Euro 2012 squad and therefore he may well look to move on this summer.

Victor Moses is a talented player who showed he had made great strides in the final weeks of the campaign as Roberto Martinez showed top six form to drag themselves clear of the drop zone. However the young Latics man is by no means as accomplished as Sturridge but Di Matteo may only be looking for back-up options given the capture of Marko Marin and Eden Hazard thus far this summer.

Now readers such reports are pouring in almost everyday.Hulk,Cavani,Falcao,Jovetic,Higuain and now Moses are some of the names in the ever expanding rumor mill. The Blues are searching for a world-class striker and according to me Hulk and Cavani are the two players whom the Club really want to sign. The other names are just plain rumors you could say.It really is a little absurd, newspapers printing in so many names and some are irrelevant if you ask me. Moses is indeed a young and decent player no doubt but a club like Chelsea could be too big a stage from him.

Well if he does come he could really flourish and give the Blue's attack a totally new magnitude but the Club are looking for a top notch and reliable striker. And just to show you readers that how counterfactual and misleading some reports can be please take a look at this

We will keep you updated with more transfer gossip.
